Real-World Technology

The Haas School's MFE labs provide students with the opportunity to learn in similar state-of-the-art environments to those they will use in the business world.

MFE Research Computing Laboratories are equipped with the latest software and tools available for research and practice. Programs such as SAS, Matlab, SPSS, EViews, and Mathematica are available in the lab and remotely through the Haas Unix research server and the Haas Windows terminal servers. Visual C++, Visual Basic, Fortran, and other software development tools are also available, as well as exclusive access to Datastream and Bloomberg terminals in the main teaching laboratory.
